Results
On Saturday, May 15th, we held our spring Guide for a Day event. We had nine guest attend. Unfortunately for our guests, fishing was very tough but there were a few fish caught.
We greatly appreciate the participation of our paid guests and our volunteer guides. This event is one of our largest fund raising activities. The funds raised allow our club to afford numerous projects and outreach programs that benefit our lake and local communities. Feel free to check out our “Giving Back” page for more details. |

Shawnee Muskie Hunters Guide for a Day
Each year, we have a spring and a fall Guide for a Day event. The spring event takes place on 15 May 2010. The fall event takes place on 16 October 2010. Both events are held on beautiful Lake Kinkaid near Murphysboro, IL. Participates meet at the Paul Ice Boat Ramp & Recreational Area. Fishing time is 8:00 A.M till 4:00 P.M each day. A dinner is provided after the guided trip. This is a great opportunity to fish a nice lake with a knowledgeable club member and learn about musky angling tools and techniques — all for a very modest price. Proceeds from this event go towards programs that improve the quality of Muskie fishing.
